Study On The Protective Tourism Development Of Cicheng Ancient Town

In the process of rapid development in all aspects of the society, there is an increasing awareness of the value as the spiritual home of the ancient town, and the legacy and preserved ancient towns in different periods attracted more and more attentions of tourists. Because the non-renewableness of ancient town, the excessive tourism development and too many tourists have taken huge pressure to the protection of ancient towns, and the contradiction between the protection of ancient towns and tourism development. Because of the absence of special protection funds in China, the maintenance of ancient town can only be funded through the development of tourism which has been shown to be the only effective and realistic way by a lot of practice. It is meaningful to study how to achieve protective tourism development, coordinate the relationship between protection and development of the ancient town, and how to find the equilibrium point between the two is significant.In this thesis, aiming at Cicheng ancient town as the research object, the author surveyed the status of protective development of tourism of Cicheng ancient town, analyzed of the existing problems, proposed how to improve the protection of the ancient town Cicheng tourism development strategies combining with the protection of domestic famous examples of protective tourism development of other ancient towns. Results of this study is meaningful to the future development of Cicheng ancient town.The first part of this thesis introduced the background and significance of ancient town tourism development and protection, then it reviewed domestic and foreign research literature, then introduced the theory of protective development of tourism of ancient town.The second part of this thesis introduced the general situation of Cicheng ancient town and the status of protective development of tourism of Cicheng ancient town, analyzed of the existing problems.The third part of this thesis introduced the examples of Wuzhen and Phoenix Town tourism development and protection, analyzed their key strongpoints, in order to give some successful experiences to Cicheng ancient town.The fourth part of the thesis proposed some strategies to improve the protective development of tourism of Cicheng ancient town, so as to make the tasks more effectively and reasonable.
