Research On The Business Model Of Cross-Border E-Commerce Logistics

With the improvement of living standard, the variety of the goods consumers require becomes more and more, and it will promote the development of cross-border e-commerce. As the important guarantee of electronic commerce, logistic is very important and its punctuality, accuracy have played an important role in consumers’ experience.In this research, the writer has studied the logistic model of cross-border e-commerce enterprises and of cross-border logistic companies on the foundation of his working experience and literature research. Based on existing problems like high cost and long-time transportation, a new cross-border logistic model has been built. According to the analysis of external and internal environment, the writer set up the goal of the new cross-border logistic business, made use of company’s resource and the opportunity like Shanghai free trade zone, and finally built the new integrated logistic solution of cross-border e-Commerce logistics. By doing this, an expectation of reducing logistic cost, shortening transportation time and benefiting e-Commerce enterprise and consumers has been built. Finally, a supporting strategy that involves team, finance, information system and external resource management has been proposed to guarantee the new model.
