Evaluation And Research On Regional Innovation Ability Of Qinghai Province

In this paper, based on the theory of regional innovation, regard Qinghai Province as the research object, using the Malmquist index evaluation method,data envelopment analysis and principal component analysis to evaluate regional innovation ability of Qinghai Province, From the viewpoints of both static and dynamic, from the line(time series), plane(regional) and point(dominant industry) three directions to analysis the development of the western region innovation ability in Qinghai Province. We concluded that the every year dynamic change trend of the innovation ability of Qinghai Province and ranking from the western region, differences between the innovative ability of 43 counties and cities in Qinghai Province, the effectiveness of leading industry innovation ability in Qinghai Province, and the gap between the same industry. So that we can correctly and objectively evaluate the Qinghai Province regional innovation ability, reveal the Qinghai Province regional innovation capacity constraints of ascension, And on the basis of the above we put forward suggestions and measures to improve the regional innovation capability in Qinghai Province.
