Since the born of Wechat in 2011, its function has been improving day after day. It is not only an instant message application, but also a comprehensive mobile application with communication, entertainment, personal care and services. As the result of its huge numbers of users, Wechat marketing has been attached more and more importance by the merchants.Wechat marketing has its own characteristics, high arrival rate, high exposure rate,high acceptance rate, high precision and high convenience,for example.It is more precise than micro blog marketing, so that it has improved the marketing success rate.Wechat marketing is replacing the micro blog marketing gradually which was once a star in mobile internet and it is also becoming the most valuable mobile business platform. Now the Wechat marketing mostly depends on the LBS,which is short for location based system, the drift bottle, two-dimension code, circle of friends and the red envelope. In order to complete the expected goal, merchants is used to combining different methods in the marketing.The Wechat marketing is still growing up with defects. It is difficult to classify the different customers, expensive to maintain the customer service and incomplete in information regulation. But these problems can be solved by the Wechat research group’s and relevant department’s efforts. The Wechat marketing has broad developing space and wonderful future. It will be the main trend in the mobile internet marketing. The O2O(Online to off line) marketing and the Internet of Tings are sure to become more popular by the stimulating of Wechat marketing.
