The Evaluation Of Innovation Ability Of Listed Small And Medium Sized Enterprises

IITo promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises is a common task for all countries in the world, the Chinese government has always made it as a long-term strategy. With the development of market economy, small and medium-sized enterprises have been an organic part of socialist market economy in our country, they have made great contributions to the rapid development of China’s economy. The SME board is launched on May 17, 2004. Then the number of listed small and medium enterprises is increasing. Small and medium-sized enterprises’ scale is small, their management is undisciplined, their finance is weak. So small and medium enterprises encountered many bottlenecks in the development process, with the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Innovation is an inexhaustible motive force for small and medium-sized enterprises, it plays an important role in the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises,it is also the key to solve the problem of the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. If small and medium-sized enterprises want to achieve long-term development,they must pay attention to the innovation, and cultivate their own core competitiveness through innovation.This article refers to the relevant researches on innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprises and theories of the innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprises, defines the connotation of small and medium-sized enterprise innovation ability and the elements of innovation ability, and explains the importance of each element of innovation ability to small and medium-sized enterprises. On this basis, in order to investigate the overall innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprises, this paper constructs the evaluation index system of innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprises from technological innovation, management innovation, system innovation,marketing innovation, financial ability five aspects. Then, choose the small and medium-sized enterprises listed in the small board as the research object, use factor analysis method to extract common factors of innovation ability, calculate the score of common factors and the comprehensive score, and objectively evaluate the enterprise innovation ability of small and medium-sized enterprises. Through analyzing the results of the evaluation we get some conclusions. Firstly, financial capacity and management innovationmake the most contributions to the innovation capacity of SMEs. Secondly, the innovation capacity of SMEs in all aspects is unbalanced. In addition, the industry factors will affect the ability of SMEs’ innovation capacity, and some enterprises’ innovation ability is the best,which is in business services industry. The fourth point, the innovation capacity of SMEs in different regions is varied. The innovation capacity of SMEs in Shanghai, Guangdong,Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places is polarized. Finally, according to the results of factor analysis, the author provides some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for small and medium-sized enterprises to improve innovation ability and realize sustainable development.
