| The proposition of energy consumption structure on energy efficiency corresponds to the influence of industrial structure on energy intensity.And it is an important part of the structure analysis of economic development. Improving energy utilization efficiency is to make the limited energy create more value. Fundamentally speaking, energy efficiency depends on technological progress and other factors. However, the core content of it shows that the proportion of high quality energy increase. Due to different varieties of energy on the degree of supporting economic output, when the energy structure change, the overall energy efficiency would also be affected.As an important energy base in China, Xinjiang is the important portal open to the west of our country. In recent years, Xinjiang has made remarkable achievements in economic development, but it keeps long-term extensive economic growth mode. Mainly reflects in inefficient high-consumption and unreasonable structure. Thus, both the national and the autonomous region’s 12 th five-year plan outline make clear targets for saving energy and reducing consumption. At the same time, the plain points out that the key point to improving energy efficiency is structure adjustment.. So, it is the focus on the development of our region no matter now or in the future. And it is the best way of promoting sound and rapid economic development in Xinjiang.Based on this background, at first, this paper uses the method of descriptive statistics to a system analysis of energy consumption structure in Xinjiang. The study shows that Xinjiang has obvious resource advantage. Its energy consumption structure is gradually optimized. But the subject status of the coal consumption has not changed. Mainly due to a large number of industries which give priority to coal. And its proportion is much more than other energy. Second, this paper analyzes energy efficiency in Xinjiang with the combination of two kinds of energy efficiency indexes. We find that in terms of supporting degree for economy, Xinjiang is lower than national mean level. Energy efficiency is uneven across states. Energy-intensive industry’s energy efficiency is low, and the differences are apparent.On this base, this article applies the method of ridge regression to reveal the quantitative relationship between energy consumption structure and energy efficiency. Then the article estimates the energy efficiency of marginal and the marginal rate of substitution to explore the inner cause of its impact. The rise in the proportion of oil, water, wind, promotes energy efficiency; Coal, natural gas consumption rise will cause the energy efficiency decline. In addition, the second industry accounted for the lower energy efficiency. There is the "rebound effect" of technological progress in Xinjiang. In terms of creating economic output, energies are different from themselves. The marginal efficiency of coal, oil, water, wind power was 1:4.99. Restricted by natural endowment, increase the intensity of coal and electricity transformation is the development direction of future energy in Xinjiang.What’s more, the three industries affect the energy efficiency of energy consumption structure. For non-metallic mineral products, we found that decreasing the oil and increasing the electricity consumption has promoting role in efficiency. For chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry, increasing oil and electricity energy consumption has obvious role in promoting energy efficiency, In addition, technological progress also improve energy efficiency. For electric power, heat power production and supply industry, decreasing carbon consumption and increasing electricity consumption has promoting role in efficiency. In addition, eliminating technology "rebound effect" is also very important.Finally, give the policy suggestions on the adjustment of energy consumption structure and the promotion of energy efficiency. |
