It has been proved that psychological capital can promote individuals’positive organizational behavior and this behavior in turn will bring higher work performance than before. For those benefits psychological capital has been considered nowadays as a key element for an enterprise to build its core competitive advantage and to develop sustain and harmoniously. At present in China intervention studies on psychological capital focus more on theories and measures than on practices. The case in this study is one of those traditional mechanical processing factories and skilled workers make up its main productive force. Faced with the fierce market competition outside and the psychological pressure of its workers inside the enterprise has been attaching great importance to the psychological health of the skilled workers. It has always been the first task and the most important responsibility of the ideological and political work there to ensure the skilled workers’ psychological safety. And further this safety is thought to be an indispensable part in optimizing the management of its human resources. However we can not find a precedent in how to cultivate the positive psychological state in skilled workers and how to develop their psychological capital.Two steps were taken in this study. First four hundred nineteen and skilled workers were asked to take surveys on their psychological capital so that the characteristics of their psychological capital development and the related problems could be overall revealed. In the mean time those skilled workers could learn about the importance of psychological capital in both their self-development and the enterprise’ increased performance. They could also have some idea of the relationship between the two aspects mentioned above. Second thirty members out of the subjects were asked to take part in eight intervention experiments during four months. In order to formulate a systematic intervention plan not only traditional psychological capital intervention models and methods were applied but also contemporary positive psychological contravention measures were integrated in those experiments. In the end an intervention system tailored to skilled workers has been formed which is practical, popular and effective.This system will no doubt help to make the psychological capital contravention on workers a long-term part of both the enterprises’ management of human reimburses and their ideological and political work, and finally will contribute to the research on psychological capital contravention.The conclusion drawn from this study covers four aspects:Generally the psychological capital of the skilled workers develop well;the psychological capital of skilled workers in enterprises represents respective features in four dimensions; the development of this capital is influenced significantly by the factors such as seniority and salary;the intervention plan formed here can effectively promote the state of skilled workers’ psychological capital.and it may play a great role in the enterprise.
