Human Resource functions are the basics of corporation’s core competencies.Employee training, as a crucial part of the human resource functions, is key to the business development, management efficiency improvement, and talent recruitment and retention.As a new small-to-mid sized financial institution mainly focusing on new rural areas, how to succeed in the market with fierce competitions becomes an urgent question to be answered. Improving employee quality and enhancing enterprises’ core competitiveness would be one of the choices that Panshi Jiyin Rural Bank need to make immediately. Since the establishment of the institution, Panshi Jiyin Rural Bank has not introduced a systematical employee training program that is aligned to its strategic goals. The old training program is lack of innovation and has limited positive impact on employee development.There are four chapters in this essay. The first chapter is the introduction of the background, purpose and content of the research. The second chapter includes the analysis of the current employee training program, related issues and the reasons behind. The third chapter includes introduction of a systematical employee training program that aligns employees’ goals to with the corporation’s strategic goals, and stated the four stages of the program design process including needs analysis,program planning, program implementation and results assessment. In the fourth chapter, suggestions are made to safeguard the new training program, including personnel and the detailed training structure and contents.In summary, this essay is prepared following the Human Resource Theory by utilizing the quantitative and qualitative research analysis results obtained on the current training program, and by focusing on three aspects including corporation strategic development, program development and safeguarding, and employee development, to design a suitable training program for Panshi Jiyin Rural Bank. The research was conducted in the means such as questionnaires, interview and etc., to conclude on the existing issues of the current training program based on the findings.
