Research On Regional Marine Economic Development

China is a big country, but it is far from a maritime power. How to seize the opportunity of the coastal economic development, rational use of resources, to better develop the marine economy has been raised to the height of the national strategy. Development of marine economy is helpful to optimize the allocation of resources between coastal and inland areas, driven land economic development, so as to accelerate the integration of ocean and land construction step. The development of the county’s marine economy can play a role in the radiation of coastal central cities, which has a pivotal role in the development of the province’s economy.Therefore, this paper takes the development of marine economy in Laizhou as an example, from the perspective of the development of the county economy, and studies the development of regional marine economy, and from the perspective of economic functions and social functions of marine economic development. This paper is based on the research of the development of marine economy in Laizhou by using location quotient and analytic hierarchy process, the advantages and disadvantages of the development of marine economic development and the opportunities and challenges in the external environment are analyzed by using SWOT model, and combined with the experience of the development of marine economy in Suizhong、Xiangsha、Qingdao、 Yantai and Weihai, the countermeasures and suggestions of the problems in the development of marine economy in Laizhou are put forward. The main content of this paper are as follows:1、Research preparation. This paper expounds the background and significance of the research, and summarizes the purpose, content and method of the research, and analyzes the development of the marine economy at home and abroad.2、The significance of marine economic development is discussed. This paper defines the connotation of "marine economy", discusses the economic development of marine economy and the function of society, and expounds the necessity of developing the marine economy and the development of China’s marine economy.3、Research on the development of marine economy in china. To sum up experience and the main problems in Xiangshan, Suizhong, Qingdao, Weihai and Yantai City.4、Analysis of marine economic development in Laizhou City, Shandong province. Using SWOT analysis model、location quotient and analytic hierarchy process, this paper expounds the present situation of the development of marine economy in Laizhou, the advantages and disadvantages of the development of marine economy in Laizhou city and its opportunities and challenges.5、Countermeasures and suggestions on the development of marine economy in Laizhou, Shandong province. Based on the above theoretical and empirical analysis, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on the development of marine economy development in Laizhou, Shandong province from the strategy of marine economic development, the development of marine economy and the protection system of marine economic development three aspects.6、Summary of the main results of this research. To reflect on the shortcomings of the research content and research methods, and the development direction of the research.The main conclusions of this paper are:1、Comparative analysis of different regions of marine economic development experience and lessons show that:The development of marine economy in all parts of the world there is a "heavy scale, light quality" of marine economic development mode, resulting in the lower level of the marine industry structure convergence phenomenon, but by the social and economic development of the overall level of the impact of marine economic development with each characteristic. The structure of the marine economy industry has experienced from a single to multiple changes, the industry’s technical content has experienced from low to high.The marine economic development of coastal ecological environment caused great pressure, a direct threat to the sustainable development of regional marine economy.2、Firstly, this paper analyzes the agglomeration degree of marine economy in Laizhou from three aspects, such as the national, Shandong province and Yantai city. Secondly, it studies the current situation of marine economy development in Laizhou by using the analytic hierarchy process, and it has been proved that the development of marine economy in Laizhou from 2013 to 2009 has maintained a sustained growth trend. At last, the advantages and disadvantages of the development of the marine economy in Laizhou, and the opportunities and challenges in the external environment, are analyzed by using SWOT model, and SWOT analysis matrix is formed. The results show that:Laizhou has the advantages of location, port, resources and breeding technology, but there are also problems such as small scale of marine industry, the lack of talents, the lack of innovation ability and the lack of government management. In the face of the challenges of macroeconomic slowdown, fierce competition between regions and the pressure of offshore marine environment, Laizhou must seize the opportunity to develop the marine economy and the opportunity to cross regional cooperation.3、Based on the above analysis, the main problems in the development of marine economy in Laizhou city are analyzed in this paper. From the three aspects of marine economic development strategy, marine economic development industrial planning and marine economic development guarantee system, the countermeasures and suggestions on the development of marine economy in Laizhou are put forward.
