Human capital decides whether hotel enterprises have the decisive factor of competitive advantage and hotel training is the important condition of this advantage. However, the current situation of hotel training is not so good, which makes Hotel training become chicken ribs for the managers. At the same time, the quantity and the quality of our country scholars’ research on hotel training is still rare and low. Chinese scholars did not put value chain theory to the research on hotel training, what is a regrettable thing. Value chain theory suggests that the business activities, which are closely related and inseparable, is a production value profit chain, composed a value chain. Hotel business activities are also a value chain, but this value chain is different from Porter’s value chain is. It make profits and customer satisfaction as the ultimate goal, and make hotel training and hotel services as strategic links. Standing the perspective of value chain theory, we were find that hotel training constituted by a number of links, each link in the value chain of self-contained hotel training. In this value chain, top end(purpose) of the value chain are high-quality hotel service personnel and customer satisfaction, hotel training is divided into basic activities and auxiliary link activity system. The basic activities include training needs analysis, training plan, training incentives to guide, training implementation, training achievement transformation and training effect evaluation. The Auxiliary system includes facilities system, organization system, teaching material system, institutional system and teaching system.To complement this concept and implement it into practice, we select XH hotel as a case to conduct research and analysis. We find that the existing training system of XH hotel is divided into three parts: induction training, special training and departmental training. The maturity of existing training system is very low. The QC of XH hotel has problems frequently, customer satisfaction is not high enough, customer complaints frequently, employee turnover rate is high. This result is mainly due to four reasons. First, the existing training system have many defects in the transformation areas, what resulting in employees not actively and effectively apply what they learn into actual results. Second, the lack of or inadequate basic activity sectors leads to "dystocia" of training value. Third, auxiliary activities system is not mature enough, which can not provide strong support for the training. Fourth, the senior management of XH hotel does not give enough attention to training and the atmosphere of training in XH hotel is not good, so XH hotel lacks the good breeding environment for producing training value. According to their actual situation, XH hotel launched a training system reform in order to build a new training system based on the value chain. Construction-related initiatives around six main aspects and basic activities of five auxiliary activities system started. Moreover, XH Hotel have strengthen the enterprise culture to created a good atmosphere for training and docked career planning of stuff to connect the fate of employees and enterprises, so that stuffs will develop with enterprises.After the construction and use of the value chain theory based training system, the QC problems of XH hotel reduced continually, customer satisfaction rate rise continually, complaints of customers reduced continually and the rate of employee turnover declined continually. These shows that the training System Based on Value Chain Theory smooth output value of the training for the hotel to achieve two targets: high-quality service personnel and access to customer satisfaction, which shows the relative superiority of this training System to the original training system. Finally, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the article realistically existing, and put forward the idea of further study.
