Empirical Study On The Happiness Of Land-lost Peasants Under The Background Of Urbanization

With the development of urbanization in our country, the number of landless farmers is also increasing. However the compensation for land expropriation is unreasonable, the social security policy for land expropriation is missing, the re-employment of landless farmers is difficult, the living standard of landless farmers is declining and so on, all of these causing the happiness level of landless peasants is not high and the mass incident often occurs and then leading to the landless farmers become one of the factors of social instability. These problems have made a direct impact on the process of urbanization and seriously hindered the economic development and social stability, and also is contrary to the urbanization development principle of People-oriented, urban-rural integration, harmonious society and intensive development.This paper select the part of the landless peasants from Jiaozuo City and Xinxiang City, Henan Province as the research object, Firstly using a descriptive analysis to analyze the situation of landless peasants in the study area, using the factor analysis and synthesis index to measure the level of happiness of landless peasants objective, then find out what caused the main reason for the lower level of happiness,on this basis, we propose a number of suggestion to increase happiness levels of peasants. The main conclusions are as follows:Inadequate supply of public resources(1)Landless peasants happiness levels in the study area is not high. Through model analysis shows that the study area’s average happiness is 57.44 score, less than 60. Overall happiness is relatively low. This shows the level of overall happiness of landless peasants in the study area is less happy stage.(2)The main reasons leading to happiness level of landless peasants not high including: There are serious loopholes in employment and income problems of landless peasants. Mainly in household income, job situation, employment channels; The social security system is not perfect; Residential property management level is inadequate. Mainly in the security situation, living conditions, property facilities; Inadequate supply of public resources.Mainly in the medical conditions and education for their children; Social integration of poor conditions. Mainly in terms of identity and neighborhood; Land requisition compensation standards and resettlement methods unreasonable(3) On the issues that influence the happiness of land-lost peasants, this paper writes a few feasible advices:To boost the again obtain employment levels, so as to increase the income of land-lost peasants; To perfect the social security mechanism and put the measures into practice; To normalize the construction standards of placement cells and enhance the property management; To facilitate the inflow of social resources, so as to improve the convenience of land-lost peasants’living; To enrich the spiritual life of land-lost peasants, so as to boost their social inclusion; To reform the compensation policy for land expropriation and built upon the system of value increment distribution.
