A Comparative Study Of China’s Urbanization Dynamic Factors Between East And West

Since the reform and opening up China’s overall urbanization significantly increasing, but due to historical, geographical and economic infrastructure, etc., resulting in East and West China urbanization level significantly different, to find the causes, and to better promote the development of urbanization, especially to improve the western urbanization level, while promoting the new urbanization development.From a theoretical perspective, this paper explores the East and the West industries, government promotion, the actual development of urban and rural areas as well as foreign trade and how to promote the urbanization process, and then analyzes the dynamic difference between eastern and western urbanization evolution; from empirical factor, using the co-integration test and PCSE, FGLS methods launching what portion of the dynamic factors, the magnitude and direction. The results show that urbanization and the above variables existing long-term stable equilibrium relationship. Specifically, industry support is the core of dynamic, the primary industry is the foundation,which western to the eastern part of the first phase of industrial structure to improve the urbanization rate is more conducive to increase; the second industry is the direct driving force, no matter to the west or east, it is the largest; the tertiary industry is the follow-up force, which for China’s current urbanization, from the traditional to the new in transition is essential; the government is promoting the auxiliary dynamic, but in the opposite direction to its role; urban and rural areas is the target dynamic, but for the western region no significant effect; foreign trade as an external dynamic, although less useful than the role of internal factors, but can not be ignored.After comparing East and West dynamic factors from theoretical and empirical aspects, the yield from the integration of the city Finally, service-oriented transformation of the government, the integration of urban and rural areas, improve the quality of foreign trade and other aspects for improving the level of urbanization to the west and to promote the new urbanization made specific Suggestions.
