Study On The Comprehensive Evaluation Of Urbanization Quality And Its Dynamic Factors In Chongqing

Urbanization is the process of replacing the agricultural economy with the industrial economy and the industrial society replacing the agricultural society.Since the founding of new China,China's urbanization process has made remarkable achievements.After the reform and opening up the process of urbanization has entered a high-speed development stage,the situation of urbanization lagged behind the industrialization has been significantly improved,and the urbanization rate has exceeded the world average.Urbanization has become an important engine of economic growth and an important scientific proposition for the country's long-term scientific development plan.However,although China's urbanization has made great achievements,but in the pursuit of the speed and scale of urbanization,there has been a tendency to pay more attention to quantity and neglect quality.The widening gap between the rich and the poor in the urban and rural areas,the increasing crowding of population and traffic,the increasing pressure on employment,housing and the ecological environment are becoming increasingly prominent.The improvement of the quality of urbanization has aroused great attention from the CPC Central Committee.Chongqing as a national central city,the only western municipality,in recent years the economy is rapidly developing,the process of urbanization is rapidly being advanced.At the same time,due to the vast area of Chongqing,the big difference between urban and rural areas,economic and social unbalanced development,Chongqing urbanization quality also need to be improved.Based on the summary of the research on the urbanization quality and the analysis of the development of urbanization in Chongqing,this paper taking Chongqing and its municipal districts as the research object,and selecting panel data from 2007 to 2015,from the connotation of urbanization quality,following the principles of scientific,systematic,representative,comparability and operability,establishes the comprehensive evaluation system of urbanization quality of Chongqing from five aspects: the quality of economic development,the quality of social development,the quality of ecological environment,the efficiency of urbanization and the degree of coordination between urban and rural areas.From the aspects of time and space,the urbanization quality of Chongqing and its municipal districts was evaluated by using the entropy method.After the test,the variable intercept fixed effect model is determined as the panel data regression model to study the dynamic factors of urbanization quality of Chongqing.The urbanization quality of 36 sample districts and counties in Chongqing from 2007 to 2015 is regarded as the explanatory variables.The public finance expenditure,proportion of non-agriculture industry,total export-import volume and total retail sales of consumer goods are used as explanatory variables,which represent the administrative power,endogenous power,exogenous power and market power.And analyzes the dynamic factors that may promote the improvement of urbanization quality in Chongqing.The main conclusions of the study are as follows: from 2007 to 2015,the comprehensive score of Chongqing urbanization quality showed a steady growth trend,the overall urbanization quality of Chongqing increased significantly;in general,the subsystems of urbanization quality of Chongqing show an increasing trend,the proportion of eco-environmental quality subsystem score and urbanization efficiency subsystem score in the comprehensive score are decreased;the spatial pattern of urbanization quality of Chongqing is characterized by urban functional core area and urban function expansion area as the center,the urbanization quality is gradually reduced from the central area to urban development new area,Chongqing southeast ecological conservation area and Chongqing northeast ecological protection area;the urbanization of Chongqing has been polarized.In the analysis of the dynamic factors of urbanization quality of Chongqing,there are obvious differences in the individual fixation effect of 36 sample districts and counties in Chongqing,and the four major dynamic factors play a significant role.According to the order of driving force from large to small,the dynamic factors of urbanization quality of Chongqing is followed by endogenous power,administrative power,market power and exogenous power.Based on the above research summary,the countermeasures to improve the urbanization quality of Chongqing are as follows: firmly take the new-style urbanization path,to enhance the overall urbanization quality;strengthen the ecological environment protection,improve the quality of urban ecological environment;optimize the industrial structure,improve the efficiency of urbanization;deepen the five functional areas strategy to achieve a balanced urbanization quality.
