Along with the globalization of economy, a great number of transnational enterprises are going to have business in other countries and areas which is different from home country. In this case, the project team members with different culture background and nationalities will work together to proceed project management activities. Also the problems and difficulties raised by multicultural reason have impacted the execution of company project management system. New requirement are brought out to the project management team and how to react these challenges becomes an urgent matter to be solved.As taken Company XMZ as example, this thesis analyzed the basic information and related parts of the project management system which has been performed for hundreds of years. After summarized the advantages of this system, questions on the execution status come out. The thesis picked some typical project managers in branch company in China and invested the actual situation of the system. With 14 parameters in 3 aspects (Cultural differences and integration/Project communication management/ project team management) selected systematically, final scores are received by data analysis and the parts which need to be optimized are come out as results. They are: view of value, concepts of communication, project team management system and project team personnel system. The detailed reasons are known as communicated with some project managers.As summarized the impacted matters, this thesis represented the final reason as two which is culture differences and the system disadvantages. And optimizing methods are provided to make this better. This thesis’s main contributions are as follows:analyzing the impact and conflict between project management and expressions of culture difference, then summing up the real problem and providing the solutions. Apply the strategies is one of the innovations to solve the executive problem of project management system. Introduce the importance of building up excellent cross-culture management team and how to solve the problems occurred during project management, will be a great help with the project management performance in multinational corporations both at home and abroad.
