Optimal Research Of Supervision Measures On Elevator Safety Of Guangzhou

The development of society and economy brings the improvement of people’s living standard, and the elevator is becoming an important component of the growth of society and people’s life. The security of elevator has influenced the stability of society and the healthy development of economy, even has a connection with the public management ability of government and urban civilization. The elevator safety problem has become a social topic, and has drawn the attention of government. The increasing growth of elevator has accompanied with the elevator safety accidents, and the serious elevator safety situation has challenged the recent public management mode of government. This paper has started from the perspective of the elevator safety management to analyze the current development status of the elevator in Guangzhou. In addition, the comparison between the management mode of Europe and America and Guangzhou city has helped to summarize the possible reason of elevator accidents. Furthermore, some suggestions and counterplans have been proposed to perfect the elevator safety regulation of Guangzhou.By means of quantitative and qualitative analysis, we have carried the statistical work for the elevator safety situation. It shows that some problems exist in the safety management for elevator in Guangzhou which includes responsibility ambiguousness, fuzzy orientation of regulatory function, low threshold of the industry of maintenance and the monopoly of elevator detection,and some reasons for these problems have been given. Finally, we draw lessons from foreign advanced management experience and some advice has given to complete the safety management of elevator in Guangzhou which composes of relaxing the detection market, improving the threshold of maintenance market, and transforming government functions.
