S company as an IT storage hardware enterprise, has been the leading position in the industry. The production base is also entered China in the early stage. With deterioration of investment environment like domestic labor costs increase, raw material costs rise, the appreciation of the RenMinBi, the low cost advantage in manufacturing slowly disappear. At the same time the company internal management issues, production flexibility phenomenon such as low waste, cost, organization overstaffed. Company existing production management pattern has seriously restricted the development of the company. How to alleviate or solve a lot of internal and external pressure, build a high-quality, high efficiency and low cost of production management model has become the company’s biggest task.Lean production is most popular in recent years the scientific management theory and methods among the world. Its core philosophy is continue to improve and reduce wastes. Lean production, is customer oriented, the use of value stream mapping, pull production, continuous flow, fast production line switching to reduce the all kinds of wastes in the process of production. And reduce costs, improve quality, reduce inventory, compressing production cycle time. Lean production with high flexibility, and high efficiency, it represents the world’s development direction of today’s manufacturing.This paper analyzes the present situation of the S company production management, and the existing problems. It analyses the necessity and feasibility of implementing lean production company. Put forward the company lean production strategy scheme, and the scheme of implementation were discussed, preparation and preservation. Through the flexible use of lean production theory and tools, design a set of scientific and practical for the company’s lean production management plan. Hope that through the deep research in the theory of lean production, combined with the authors years of work experience and the actual production environment, design a set of lean production management solutions and guarantee measures, ultimately achieve the goal of the company to reduce costs to improve competitiveness.
