Research On Terminal Service Efficiency Of A Express Company’s Timeliness Products

With the development of electronic commerce, the express industry faces fierce competition. In the information age that national advocate “Internet +”, express companies must face the market and consumer groups to develop their own unique competitive advantage and expand their business field by constantly meet the needs of customers. In the express industry, speed and efficiency as the evaluate abilities standard. Therefore, the express companies should keep pace with the times and ensure the efficiency of distribution while reducing their operating costs.This article studies the efficiency of the timeliness products in the terminal services based on the A express company. DEA(Data Envelope Analyze) model and TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution) model were used to evaluate this efficiency. Then, this article also analyzes the competitive index from the index system and explores the possibility of efficiency improving based on the analysis of the express delivery problem on the terminal. Firstly, article analyzes the study situation of the industry about express industry at home and abroad as well as the use of DEA to solve the problem of logistics on the basis of literature research. Secondly, analyze the problem in the process of operation. Selecting the significant indexes and constructing effective index system, then using the DEA model for efficiency evaluation. Thirdly, sorting the effective DMU(Decision Making Unit) according to the evaluation results and finding a DMU can be used as reference for companies. Last, adjust the data to reduce the cost. In all the results of research, interpreting the problem of competitive index can provide simple suggestions for enterprises when they faced the same problems.This article not only studies the problem of A company’s current operation, but also provides a reference for other express companies.
