Study On The Scale Effect And Spatial Mechanism Of Regional Eeconomic Disparity In Xinjiang

Regional economic difference is a common economic phenomenon.Moderate regional economic differences are conducive to the rational allocation of resources, promote economic competition between regions,but also may endanger the overall economic growth and social stability.Addition, the state will be “coordinated development”as one of the important development goal of Thirteen Five planning, visible,moderate economic difference is not only the needs of economic and social development,but also the implementation of national policy. Xinjiang at the northwest frontier of China,is located in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent and surrounding with eight countries national security and stability in border areas development pattern has very important strategic position. In recent years, the Xinjiang economy has shown a good momentum of development, but in the rapid development of its economy, there are great differences in differences in Xinjiang. The regional economic disparity scale effect and the spatial mechanism of action can effective reveal the characteristics of regional economic differences system,and can also find how the factors interact with each other,and then have a role to the regional economy, resulting in the production of regional economic differences.This study firstly the connotation of regional economic differences and the spatial mechanism and related theory more comprehensive summary and analysis; Xinjiang’s regional economic development status is described in detail from the aspect of the Xinjiang region of natural environment,economy and society,first, therefore, the economic difference of three scales of three major regions of Xinjiang, fifteen prefectures and countries respectively to measure and comparative analysis, Xinjiang’s regional economic differences were found to have a scale effect.Second,scale variance and its decomposition method are used to measure the size of Xinjiang regional economic disparity scale effect, that is,the contribution of different scale economic differences to the overall economic differences in Xinjiang. Third, based on the theoretical analysis of the mechanism of regional economic differences, the spatial error econometric model is constructed,and the mechanism of regional economic disparity in Xinjiang is empirically studied. Finally, according to the above research and combined with the characteristics of Xinjiang regional economic development and the actual situation in Xinjiang to promote the coordinated development of Xinjiang’s economic countermeasures and suggestions.Through the research,this paper obtained the following conclusions:first, 1995-2013 regional economic differences in Xinjiang in regional, city, county(city) level between different regions showed “M”type change trend; Xinjiang City, county(city)two regional economic development level has significant spatial agglomeration L-H and L-L, respectively is the Xinjiang city agglomeration, county(city)the main causes of economic spatial agglomeration; second,regional economic differences in Xinjiang with spatial scale effect,and the spatial scale is small, the greater the difference of regional economy, the contribution scale of regional economic differences in regional economic difference is among them, Xinjiang county(city) economic difference is far greater than the economic difference between regions,between cities. Third,market potential to narrow the regional economic differences in Xinjiang has a positive role in promoting and the factors to narrow the regional disparity has exceeded the material capital; in Xinjiang, physical capital and on the extent of government intervention exacerbated by increased between Xinjiang’s regional economic development gap; Xinjiang labor scale expansion contribututes to the Xinjiang regional differences in economic development of narrow,while exports geographical proximity(foreign market potential)of Xinjiang regional economy difference reduction did not play a role in promoting.Combine with the reality of economic development in Xinjiang, put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:according to the economic characteristics at different spatial scales, different decisions and considerations; promote the coordinated development of regional economy in Xinjiang county scale efforts; strengthen trade links between the regions of Xinjiang, undertand the market information in a timely manner,to encourage inter regional economic cooperation;establishing regional coordinate branches of the government,increase the elimination of backward areas of the workforce investment;improve and perfect the market system.Therefore, the scale effect of regional economic differences in Xinjiang and its spatial mechanism are studied, which can not only provide theoretical basis for future government to develop Xinjiang’s regional economic coordinated development policy, but also have practical significance to promote the development of social stability in Xinjiang.
