Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Wheat Flour Processing Industry In Henan Province

With the improvement of living standard, more and more people emphasis on the safety, nutrition and health of flour products, asking wheat flour processing enterprises to provide more high quality and special flour to meet the market demand.As a major wheat producing area, Henan province provides the largest wheat flour production in China. Superior natural resources provide a rich raw material of wheat and the increasing flour demand of flour products provide a broad consumer market. It provides a precondition for the development of wheat flour processing industry. Wheat flour processing industry in Henan can promote the development of Henan province from a big agricultural province to a strong agricultural province. It is of great significance to the overall social and economic development of Henan province. At present, there are still many problems in wheat flour processing industry in Henan province, and these problems restrict the development of wheat flour processing industry. So in this paper, to study these problems, It used the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to analyze the weights of influential factor, expecting to use the limited manpower and financial resources to provide a new way of thinking for the development of wheat flour processing industry in Henan province.This paper first introduces the research’s background, purpose and the significance of this topic. Next, it inducts and summarizes the existing research and literature. And then it introduces the selection of various research methods and the technical route. Finally, it summarizes the innovations and shortcomings of this article. By reading vast amount of literature data, surveying and concluding the present situation of wheat production in Henan province, the present situation of the processing enterprises, the present situation of the development of science and technology, as well as the supply and demand situation in wheat flour. It provides the basis for finding the existing problems. The article mainly elaborates the existing problems in the development of wheat flour processing industry from three aspects: the raw material source, producing ability as well as the scientific and technology. Wheat flour processing enterprises purchase wheat stem from different producers. The dispersion of producers and the obstacles of information share make the goods of wheat can’t meet the need of processing industry. And the majority of enterprises in the industry are small in size, low industrial concentration and low production efficiency. The existence of industry exit barriers intensified the vicious competition, resulting in low production capacity utilization. It hindered the development of wheat flour processing industry. What’s more, slow development of scientific technology level make the scientific research can’t have a good effect on the development of wheat flour processing industry. Then the article extracts various constraints from the existing problems in the development of wheat flour processing industry in Henan province, and then makes descriptive analysis and empirical analysis with the influential factors. The part of empirical analysis uses AHP method to evaluate the weights of various factors, and in order to take relevant countermeasures to promote Henan province to solve the problem of wheat flour processing industry with sequence and key point. Finally, the article makes a summary based on comprehensive analysis of the present situation, problems and influential factors of the development of wheat flour processing industry in Henan. And then put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
