Relationship Study And Comparative Analysis Between Technological Progress And Economics-Social Development Of City Subdivisions In China

With the transformation of economic growth mode in China, technology’s role of supporting and leading economic and social development will be increasingly important. It’s necessary to rely on technological progress to promote economics-social development. By searching the related literatures, it’s found that the study on the relationship between technological progress and economics-social development of the county was discussed more, but less research on city subdivision. In this thesis, with the support of national science and technology plan projects, the research between technological progress and economics-social development is systematically analyzed based on the data in project of "2011-2012 Estimate on the Science-technology of Counties in China".First, this thesis gives a comprehensive analysis of the trend of city subdivisions in technological, economic, and social aspects from 2005 to 2012 and summarizes the basic characteristics of this trend. Analysis shows that technology, economy and society are in a good momentum of development. Second, with the help of SEM (structural equation model), the path of scientific and technological progress promoting economics-social development in 2012 is explored. And the analysis is sorted according to all city subdivisions as well as city subdivisions of different economic development level. Research shows that technological output had promoted economic and social development significantly. Third, select the data of city subdivisions which have passed "Estimate on the Science-technology of Counties in China" from 2005 to 2012, then explore the path of technological progress promoting economics-social development and compare the trend of the path. Finally, using coordination degree and coordination development degree model, this thesis analyzes the coordination between technological progress and economics-social development of the city subdivisions in 2005-2012 as well as city subdivisions of different economic development level. Research shows that the relationship between the technological progress and economics-social development is more and more harmonious.
