In this paper, cutting pick on the end plate of a type of carrier is as research vehicle with sub-combination of its uses, while selecting high hardness of iron sulfide containing thin seams of pyrites concretions as working conditions and giving coal to H-J-C constitutive materials, which is based on showing the finite element method, contact analysis, hourglass control and single tooth broken coal impact theory. The model of impact of single tooth and finite element is built, and the impact velocity and angle of cutting pick and hardness of coal are set as variables, changes of acceleration and displacement of alloy cutter head, stress of alloy head tip, and temperature are set as the target variable. It analyzes mechanical characteristics of the cutting pick under the conditions of different speed and impact angle in details by using dynamic analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA and control variable method. And then it specifically analyzes the optimum features of one combination after making two different combinations of parameters. Finally it identifies the stress variations of Z direction from cutting pick to transition coal under the optimum features.By comparing, it figures that cutting stress of Z direction is decreasing as the speed increasing while the angle of impact is 500.The accelerations and displacements of X and Y directions are smaller than the other two while the speed is 3m / s.The internal energy and temperature of cutting pick are increasing as velocity increasing. The accelerations and displacements of X and Y directions are slightly smaller than the other two while the speed is 3m / s and the angle is 450.The cutting stress of Z direction is apparently smaller than the other two while the angle is 500 and temperature of cutting pick is increasing as the speed increasing. Lastly, it figures that it has the optimum combination while the speed is 3m / s and the angle is 450.By loading to the transition coal, it gets that the stress of Z direction instantly increases by 26% when the cutting pick cuts into the soft rock. It is concluded that it will be very effective and it will improve efficiency of cutting by increasing the speed of the roller and appropriately decreasing the mounting angle of cutting pick based on the specific coal working conditions at the actual work.
