The marking device developed by this article is mainly used in special steel continuous casting production line to ensure the quality of billets.The marking device has been equipped with double laser rangefinder,thus the device has higher positioning accuracy;with using the single-axis robot as the basic motion transmission member of writing mechanism,the device is sure to have higher motion accuracy and longer life;and the device can adapt to high temperature working environment because of its heat insulation and cooling system.By the analysis of the marking requirements and production workshop situation of the factory,the structure of the marking device has been determined,and the marking process has also been formulated;by comparison and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of commonly used methods of marking,appropriate marking principle has been selected.The mechanical part of the marking device is composed of mobile box and equipment base,the writing mechanism and heat insulation and cooling device in the mobile box have been mainly introduced in this paper,the parameters of the important parts have been checked in detail to ensure the stability of the equipment at the same time.A dual laser ranging system has been designed,usingfixed laser to prevent the collision of the moving box and the billet,using scanning laser to prevent the collision between the writing mechanism and the billet.The writing mechanism is the core components of the marking device,and itsdynamic performance has a crucial impact on the effect of marking.In order to analyze the vibrationwhen marking device is working,it's necessary to do kinetic analysis of writing mechanism.In this article,it focuses on the influence where the slider's position ofthe single-axis robots is onthe modal of writing mechanism using of ANSYS Workbench,the typical charactershave been selected to do resonance analysis at the same time,and the results of the analysis above have provided a reference for program control of PLC.A weight optimized design has been made to the cantilever of the writing mechanism using response surface analysis method,and the optimization resulthas been verified.It can reduce the weight of cantilever of 33%.According to the cooling fan model which has been selected,and combining the knowledge of CFD and heat transfertheory,a finite element analysis of the cooling and thermal insulation system has been performed by FLUENT,the distribution of the air velocity and pressure field and temperature fieldsin the mobile boxhave been obtained.The temperature of the special point in the moving box has been measured to compare with the theoretical analysisresults,the correctness of finite element model has been verified.It has provided the basis for the future design and analysis.By reducing the power of plasma cutting and applying it to the equipment,trace can be etched at the end of the billet,a very small character can be marked,and there is a broad application prospect in the marking of small size billets.The accuracy of marking can be greatly improved because of the use of double laser ranging system,and the marking device has been well protected at the same time.
