With the expansion of the urban and the speeding up of urbanization, the trend of the development of the urban space three-dimensional is growing. In recent years, the complex building, its function of complicated and comprehensive, for the development and utilization of urban stereo space, play the urban agglomeration effect, improve the urban environment has a positive role, but also make the architectural space compound, three-dimensional. In order to adapt to the development and change, structure form and modeling and constant innovation, all kinds of new materials, new technology, new technology should become more and more widely used in the construction of complex building. Therefore, complex building fire protection design should be fire, the fire resistance of structures, the structure of the typical space node, etc. to make new consideration.The existing way of the traditional fire protection design method to the above aspects is relatively independent, complete, but because of the complex building covered by typical particularity and complexity of the space, if lead to the fire prevention design according to the current specification, will not be unable to achieve security objectives, cannot reflect the synergy between the fire protection system. Complex building construction in the aspect of fire safety is facing enormous challenges, which has given rise to the performance-based fire protection technology research and should be used.This article is divided into five chapters, respectively from the macro level(for architectural space) and micro(for fire protection construction) complex building fire prevention design method is discussed, and lists the two should use the performance-based fire protection design of typical cases.At the macro level, this paper summarizes the four kinds of typical space of complex building, namely high narrow cylindrical space, short sector big space, atrium, sharing space and underground space. The space form and their combination can exist beyond the current code for fire protection for height, area, meet the requirements of the travel distance and unable to meet the fire safety problems, so the need for specific problems put forward specific fire protection design goal and strategy, and should be verified with a method of the software simulation and evaluation.At the micro level, the space of the structure fire resistance, the typical structure fire protection design is the key to ensure the building doesn't collapse fire. This paper discusses the synthesis of construction of the reinforced concrete structure and steel structure component fireproof design method, and in view of the above four typical space easy to fire up the smoke pull parts and the fire partition boundary of the need for fire separated parts, can be used as part of safety, and it is difficult to discharge flue gas, the tightly sealed and separated, ensure effective surround close, reinforced platoon smoke fire protection construction measures.Complex architecture provides a multi-function, high efficient use of space for people,but these space fire prevention design problem to be solved. On the basis of the performance-based analysis for different use function of the building is in view of the complex space forms of different requirements, can improve the level of building fire safety is put forward, and can meet the requirements of fire control design, reasonable and effective fire protection construct practice of design refinement effect, can make complex building fire safety design is more reasonable and effective.
