Research And Application Of Construction Stage Project Risk Management Maturity Model

Construction projects with investment, long period, high technical requirements, the characteristics of complex systems so that there is a considerable risk in its entire construction process, especially during the construction phase, Which put forward higher request for the risk management and evaluation of the construction phase. In this paper, we applied The Project Management Maturity Model theory to risk management project construction phase and established Construction Stage Project Risk Management Maturity Model(CSPRM3 model).It provides a new management and evaluation style for the risk management. At the same time, Combined with practical engineering case to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of CSPRM3 model.Firstly, base on the standard and literature research, the specific contents and requirements of the risk management, coupled with various maturity model during the construction of project are analyzed and concluded systematically, which lays the theoretical foundation for the research of the maturity model in the construction project.Secondly, CMM model is taken as a basic model on the basis of the analysis of the important content, structure and level of the various maturity model. According to the classification principles of the maturity model of the Kerzner typical project risk management and the characteristics of risk management construction stage in the engineering project, the maturity model(CSPRM3 model) with the degree for five level hierarchy is established. It determines the evaluation factors and index system of the maturity degree of the project risk management by the way of the questionnaire survey, and the description about the qualitative and quantitative of the index is given as well.Thirdly, the index weight of the project maturity in the construction stage is determined through questionnaires. Considering the comprehensive evaluations and fuzzy characteristics of the project risk management maturity degree, the maturity evaluation model is established based on the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the project risk management in the construction stage, which provides a set of new evaluation methods and tools for the project risk management maturity evaluation during the construction.Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of Construction Stage Project Risk Management Maturity Model is verified and the construction phase of the project risk management levels is objectively evaluated through the analysis of actual case. At the same time, related improvement opinions are put forward for risk management.
