With the rapid growth of air traffic flow, the capacity congestion and flight delay of large airports in our country becomes more and more serious. At the same time, the air traffic network construction and flight schedule arrangement are based on market demand not the rational hub-spoke network. the flight wave in hub airports can greatly improve the operating efficiency of the airport, make most use of the existing flight and the resources of airports facilitate,and maintain needs of passengers. Therefore, this paper mainly centered on the concept of flight wave to explore the optimization method of airport's flight schedule.First, this paper describes the basic concepts of flight schedule and flight wave, discusses the feasibility to optimize flight time by the flight wave. Secondly, the airport flight schedule's optimizations are used "minimize delay" as the optimization goal, but the key point which hub airports is different from others connect ability. In order to consider the hub airports' connect ability, this paper builds a airport connect ability evaluation model based on WNX Index, verifies efficient of the model with examples of 29 airports, the results shows that our hub airports have a lower connect level flights. Thirdly, reducing delays is one of the hub airports' key point, the existing flight schedule's optimization models satisfy airports capacity limitation, flight restriction, flight connective. Aimed at the characteristics of maximizing the flight connect ability in hub airports, this paper adds the flight connect ability's in the flight schedule's optimization model and uses GSWO to solve the problem, which obtain an optimized flight schedule, and simulate and verify it with SIMMOD. Fourthly, this paper take an example of Beijing Capital Airport to verify the optimization model, and default flights connecting collections, and use the flight connect and delays level to evaluate the optimization results. The results shows that connect level and airport efficiency has been improved, flight delays has been reduced.
