Research In Place Spirit Of Analysis And Practice Of Traditional Villages In Beijing

China has been pushing forward the theoretical thinking and practical exploration about the protection and development of traditional villages with maturing technologies and means.The research results in various fields become increasingly abundant.However,many traditional villages in the national directory have been changed beyond recognition from the current development situation.There have been a variety of vandalism.Traditional villages are losing the characteristics and vitality,and the distinctive cultural atmosphere of the village gradually faded.It is various factors that disturb the ability to identify traditional villages.The spirit of place of the traditional village is dying.So how to find back the characteristics and vitality of traditional villages,how to maintain the distinctive cultural atmosphere of traditional villages,how to improve the identification of traditional villages and how to inherit and rebuild the spirit of traditional villages are urgent matters to be solved.It cannot only protect the characteristic space of traditional villages,but also can continue the peculiar atmosphere of traditional villages by using the theory and method of place spirit to guide the work of protection and development of traditional villages.It has realistic directive significance.In this paper,the author launched the research idea in the orders of "raising questions-analyzing problems-solving problems" :Chapter one,starting from the reveals the widespread phenomenon,it introduces the phenomenon of the gradual extinction of place sprit in the processes of the protection and development of traditional villages in China.Chapter two,it has research on the Genius Loci theory and relevant theories based on the existing literature at home and abroad,and it finds out the important enlightenment of the protection and development of traditional villages through theoretical study and summary.Chapter three,it studies the formation of place spirit of the traditional village for further understanding of the elements of place spirit of traditional villages.This study provides the preparation for exploring the elements of place spirit of a particular place,which can effectively guide the research.Chapter four,it interprets the specific elements of place spirit of traditional villages in Beijing area from three aspects of the natural environment,human environment and artificial environment.Chapter five,taking the “ Protection Project of Shuiyu Village” as an example,it discusses the inheritance strategies and methods of the three elements of place spirit:maintaining the authenticity,adaptability and sustainability of the three elements of place spirit.
