The Research On The Decoration Art Of Doors And Windows For Lang Shi Ancient Village In Southwest Of Hunan Province

As “The first ancient village of Chinese couplets”,Lang Shi ancient village is preserved quiet well in southwest of Hunan Province.The plane layout and space combination of this village is characteristic,and a variety of styles is combined in its architectural form.The essence of architectural decoration in Lang Shi ancient village is the decoration art of doors and windows,which is also the most intact part.At present,there is not detailed research for the decoration art of doors and windows in Lang Shi ancient village.Therefore,this paper focus on research for this subject to fill in gaps.Firstly,this paper introduce the social and historical origins,physical geographic environment,village layout and architectural form of the Lang Shi ancient village.And this paper focus on the characteristic of village layout and architectural form.Then,the influence of them on the decorative art forms of doors and windows in Lang Shi ancient village is analyzed.Considering the unique architectural space layout of the Lang Shi ancient village,the doors and windows is classified by their function.And the type and characteristic of the detailed components is analyzed.Then,the decorative art forms of doors and windows is studied from the angle of decoration theme,decoration craft and decoration style.The decorative characteristic of the doors and windows in Lang Shi ancient village are concluded.Finally,the aesthetic characteristics and cultural connotation of the decoration of the doors and windows are analyzed.The decorative art of doors and windows in Lang Shi ancient village is analyzed in this paper,which contribute enormously to the enrichment and perfection of the study on the architectural decoration and the preservation and development for Lang Shi ancient village.
