The Power Production Management System of National Grid SG186(hereinafterreferred to as “PMS”System) is one of the most complicated business application in the eight SG168 Program. Establishing a standard production management system which is vertical application, horizon integration and covers the whole production process of the grid plays an important role in realizing the intensification,refinement and standard of National Grid and improving the management level of National Grid Asset.Currently, after many years exploration, application and deepening, PMS system launched the total new PMS2.0 system, reinforcing the system application and improving the existence issues. The system stresses the asset life cycle as as the principal line and the status examination as the core. It faces the united equipment fine management system of national grid quarter, provincial company and multilevel operation and maintenance units and covers the company operation and maintenance business as well as the production management process. The PMS system presses ahead the intelligent grid production so as to accomplish the full coverage of power production business of executive layer, management level and decisive level, support the operation integration and professional inspection as well as the high-effective and integrated production procedure.PMS system includes the all electrical equipment materials, systemic operation status and trial data as well as the whole power production procedure. But there are still many problems in the real application and system, including the in-conformity of system data and spot reality, low work efficiency, huge waste data in the system and faults of trial data analysis. With the development and construction of grid intelligence and the refinement and integration of power work, these issues serious disturbances the power work and poses the influences to the grid security, data analysis and status assessment.Combining the realities of Dalian Power Supply Company, this paper collects the transmission network data for Dalian region as well as presses ahead the cable line withstand voltage and partial discharge test, summarize various test date and upgrade the transmission cable lines. Through the analysis for the work flow of the PMS system, the author also discusses many methods for the problems in the system and analyzes the test data, launches the prediction for equipment status tendency and makes the status assessment for theequipment. As well,it practically improves the system application level, comprehensively enhances the equipment operation status, makes the diagnosis for the whole system of the grid and reinforces the reliability and security of the equipment operation.
