In recent years,under the impetus of rapid economic development in China,Chinese civil aviation industry faces some problems caused by leap-forward development,such as the rapid increase of traffic flow and the increasingly complicated airspace operation environment,then traffic flow management and control have become the primary focus of the work.At the same time,the constantly adjusting of airspace structure makes the distribution of airspace traffic flow and planning of the sector structure become unreasonable.Therefore,to evaluate the airspace capacity efficiently and accurately and ensure the rational designation of sectors is of great impetus to reduce the controller workload,increase the airspace capacity and ensure the safe operation of civil aviation.For the above issues,Guiyang airspace is taken as an example to further study the sector capacity evaluation and sector optimization.Firstly,the TAAM simulation tool is briefly introduced,and the existing problems in the airspace operation of Guiyang are analyzed.Then,the capacity evaluation of Guiyang approach sectors based on the control simulator is carried out by using the self-developed capacity evaluation tool.On the basis of this,the capacity evaluation method based on TAAM simulation tool is studied,and the mapping of the actual workload data and virtual workload in TAAM is found out.Finally,a sector optimization method based on genetic algorithm and TAAM simulation tool is proposed to balance the workload of each sector.The K-means is used to determine the key points which Voronoi segmentation needs,and a new coding strategy which takes the center coordinates of the sector as the gene is adopted to cluster the nearest Thiessen polygons of sector centers to finish the sector construction.The feasibility and validity of the proposed methods about the sector capacity evaluation and the sector optimization are further verified by case analysis.The study is of great practical significance to evaluate the airspace capacity quickly and accurately,balance the workload of controller and realize the full utilization of airspace resources.
