The Research Of Daoist And Buddhist Temple Landscape Characteristics In Three Gorges Area

Since the ancient times,the Three Gorges area is famous for its Canyon scenery.Today,most of the water conservancy projects in the Three Gorges in recent years has attracted much attention.However,after the completion of the Three Gorges project,because of the rise of water level,the geographical and cultural heritage is facing enormous challenges and crises.Between the Three Gorges landscape,a lot of land where brilliant civilization born was flooded.A large number of people to migrate,many cultural relics precipitation in the Yangtze River.In this process,the traditional gardens as the carrier of the local area and traditional culture,also suffered a loss of hard to count,are in urgent need of protection and inheritance.Temple garden is one of the three classical gardens in China,is the largest type retained and the most widely distributed in China Garden History.Because of its wide geographical distribution and the difference of natural and cultural environment,it has formed the obvious regional characteristics after the long evolution.Investigation of temple garden in the Three Gorges area status and history and summary of its regionality features,is very important for protecting and developing regional culture,improving the whole landscape research system and the construction of modern regional Gardens.But now,because of various reasons,protection and research situation of temple garden in the Three Gorges area is not optimistic.Through the investigation and Study on present situation and the literature of temple garden in the Three Gorges Area,taking the history of Buddhism and Taoism as the clue,We summarizes the development process of the temple garden in Three Gorges Area,and clean up all period documented temples and related descriptions.At the same time,reviews the temple garden in Three Gorges Area,and list a main existing typical temple list.Summarizes the types and characteristics of the Three Gorges Temple site,and the main factors influencing the location of Three Gorges temples.Focusing on the temple of the upper part of eastern Sichuan in the Three Gorges Region,based on the field investigation,the paper analyzes the spatial organization from the aspects of palace layout,axis control,courtyard combination and elevation difference.This paper analyzes the characteristics of landscape elements such as buildings,plants,water bodies,rocks and pieces from the perspective of landscape.It also analyzes the combination mode,landscape sequence of garden space.Finally,Summed up the landscape features from three aspects such as the flexibility and compromise of Three Gorges temple garden in the face of the complicated construction conditions,the characteristics of multi culture,and environmental concept which taking full account of regional conditions and spiritual pursuit.To provide a reference for the regional traditional culture protection,regional landscape construction and the protection of Three Gorges temple garden heritage.
