Research On The Influencing Factors Of Unsafe Behavior Of Construction Workers Based On Behavior Classification

The theory and practice have proved that the construction industry healthy and sustainable development cannot do without security,as one of the most massive construction industry groups,whether the behavior of workers safety decides the safety level of the whole industry to a great extent.It is of great practical significance to study the influencing factors of unsafe behaviors of workers.The current research on the influencing factors of unsafe behavior of construction workers has not fully considered the impact of different types of behavior.However the literature analysis shows that targeted management of various types of unsafe behavior is really effective safety management.Therefore,this paper based on the behavior recognition and classification selects of an appropriate classification for unsafe behavior of construction workers and compares different types of behavior with representative influence factors existed,so as to find the differences of influence among different types of behavior,then put forward the management suggestions.First of all,the paper summarizes related researches of unsafe behaviors and influencing factors of workers at home and abroad,the classification of unsafe behaviors,the identification of unsafe behaviors and the factors affecting the unsafe behavior are reviewed.Making a study of unsafe behavior influence factors from no defense risk behavior and cause danger behavior by establishing a list of unsafe behavior.The definition of unsafe behavior,the definition of unsafe behavior of construction workers and the standard steps of classification are defined.And then according to the classification standards and steps,the paper establishes a scale of unsafe behaviors of workers according to the current construction industry through literature review,field research and expert interviews.At the same time,based on literature research and theoretical analysis,11 factors,which affect the unsafe behavior of construction workers,are identified from three aspects,namely,safety climate,individual factors and environmental factors.Based on the hypothesis,the influencing factors model of unsafe behavior of construction workers is established.Finally,through analysis and comparison,the PLS structural equation model is adopted as the research method of this paper.The observation variables of each factor were determined,and the questionnaire of influencing factors of unsafe behavior of construction workers was compiled by reference to a large number of documents.Using SmartPLS software to analyze 348 questionnaires,we calculated and verified the relationship between the factors and the two types of behavior.Model analysis results show the following two conclusions: 1)the unsafe behavior of construction workers is influenced by safety climate,individual factors and environmental factors,including individual factors in two types of behavior occupy the most important position;2)influence factors of the unsafe behavior of different types are different.The influence degree of worker's non defensive dangerous behavior was from psychological factors,physical environment,knowledge and skills,management commitment,safety awareness,safety communication,physiological factors and safety training;The influence degree of cause danger behavior caused by workers is from psychological factors,knowledge and skills,managers commitment,physical environment,safety supervision,mechanical equipment,physiological factors,safety training.Accordingly,this paper proposes targeted management measures.
