As companies enter the era of Industry 4.0,the requirements for the accuracy of PTFE wire and cable are getting higher and higher,but at present the PTFE horizontal extruding machine system that produce wire and cable have the disadvantages of low accuracy,poor stability,and manual adjustment.The wire diameter control part of the traditional extruding machine system is improved,combined with PLC control technology,the fuzzy predictive adaptive PID algorithm is applied to the cable diameter control system,and research and design of wire diameter of PTFE wire and cable control system based on fuzzy prediction adaptive PID is completed.Aiming at the characteristics of time varying,non-linearity and big delay of wire diameter of PTFE wire and cable control system and the problem that wire diameter fluctuates greatly at two PTFE billet junctions in extruding process,a adaptive fuzzy PID prediction strategy is proposed for the extruding machine system,which combines the fast response ability of fuzzy strategy,the smaller steady-state error of traditional PID strategy and the advantages of DMC predictive strategy and achieves the complementation of the advantages of three control methods.The dynamic performance of the traditional PID strategy,the fuzzy PID strategy,the DMC predictive strategy as well as the fuzzy predictive PID strategy are contrasted in the control system of the diameter.The simulation result of MATLAB shows that the fuzzy predictive PID control strategy has the advantages of faster response,shorter adjustment time,less fluctuation in wire diameter,and stronger robustness than the other three control strategies.The design of the PLC control system,touch screen operating system and host computer monitoring system has been completed: SIMATIC S7-1200 PLC is selected as the controller of the PLC control system,and the control program is programmed in the TIA Portal V13SP1 software.Combining with the PLC technology,the advanced fuzzy predictive PID control algorithm is applied to the actual wire diameter control system to realize the automatic adjustment function of PTFE cable diameter.;PROFACE 4502 WW touch screen is used as host operating platform,and touch screen operation interface is designed in GP--Pro EX4.0 software;Kingview 7.5SP1 software is used to design upper computer monitor screen,realize the real-time monitoring function of entire extruding workshop production Information.In the extruding workshop for many on-site commissioning,using Minitab software to analyze the process capability of the wire diameter data collected on site,we can see that: it can beseen that the wire diameter of PTFE wire and cable control system based on fuzzy predictive PID can achieve the high accuracy of the cable diameter of the entire push process automatically Regulation,and anti-interference ability.At the joint of two PTFE billets,the system can reach the wire target diameter of 3.57 mm faster,showing good robustness and anti-interference ability,and has certain practical application value.
