Jiangsu province is the major rice producing areas of china,the area of rice planting is about 33.5 million Mu,and the annual yield of rice is beyond 20 million tons. since the 1990s,the technique of rice mechanical transplanting has been popularized effectively in Jiangsu. At the end of 2013,the total amount of rice transplanter in Jiangsu is 122 thousand,and the area of rice mechanical transplanting is beyond 24.06 million Mu,the rice mechanical transplanting rate is beyond 70%. In the process of the technique being popularized,the type with 30cm row spacing and adjustable planting distance has been identified as the leading type of rice transplanter. The type which has been popularized makes a significant contribution to the Rice production mechanization of Jiangsu.In recent years, affected by the natural factors as climate and irrigation and the artificial factors as transplanting quality's decline, some parts of Jiangsu report that rice mechanical transplanting reduces rice production.The farmers in these areas use the rice transplanter with 25cm row spacing to transplant rice seedlings,for increasing the planting density and avoiding the reduction in rice production.The narrow row spacing rice transplanter causes some problems that can not be avoided,and this thesis will make a study of these problems.First,the thesis will study the differences in job performance between the narrow row spacing type and the leading type,and check the job performance whether to meet the needs of rice planting in Jiangsu. Second, narrow row spacing planting patterns change the part climate of the rice paddy field,the thesis will study the effects of the change on growth and yield of rice.This thesis checks the key quotas of the narrow row spacing type and the leading type by the contrast test.The test checks the job performance of the two types,include the qualification rate of evenness degree, leakage planted rate,harmful sprout rate,tip over sprout rate;and records the growth and yield of rice. Through the analysis of testing data, this thesis educes the applicability conclusion of the two types of rice transplanter in Jiangsu province.
