As foreign large-scale sugarcane harvesting machinery is not adapted to Chinese national conditions,in currently,sugarcane harvest still uses the old manual process which is labor-intensive and costs too much in our country,especially stripping leaves accounts for about 65%of the time of harvest operations.The backwardness of the harvestmeans restricts the development of cane sugar,therefore,R&D the sugarcane harvest machine which is suitable for our country has become imperative.This article relies on the Ministry of Science,Technology scientific,technical personnel services enterprise project,and the cooperation with Qinzhou Lishun Machinery Co.,Ltd.,as the overarching goal to develop the whole stalk-type small-scale sugarcane harvester,design and manufacture the improved leaf peeling machine after researching on the existing leaf peeling machine.This article starts works on the following sections:1.This article aimed at the leaf peeling machine part of the existing prototype.After a large number of experiments,a series of shortcomings and deficiencies of the leaf peeling machine was identified,some correlation analysis had been made on these issues.Found a number of solution to solve the problem,and picked out some more effective ones of these solution by some experiments.2.After summarizing the results,redesign the leaf peeling machine,take comparative analysis theoretically on the torque and the power consumption respectively needed when sugarcane passes the floating conveying roller and the fixed conveying roller,conclude that use the floating conveying roller instead of the original fixed roller can greatly improve the congestion.3.Conduct simulation analysis about the movement of the sugarcane by ADAMS,verify the previous conclusions drawn by the theoretical analysis and guide the manufacture of the leaf peeling machine.4.Participate in the fabrication of the improved leaf peeling machine,after the completion of the improved whole stalk-type sugarcane harvester,a series of experiments on the leaf peeling machine part was finished,and after some appropriate modifications on the leaf peeling machine,a good practical effect had been achieved.
