In order to study the relationship between activity of extracellular enzyme,agronomic characters,and fruiting body ontogeny,three strains,MZP01(Auricularia cornea Ehrenb),MZP03(White wood ear),and MZF02(the crossbreed of Auricularia cornea Ehrenb and white wood ear)were selected in this study.The process of ontogeny,activity of extracellular enzyme,and agronomic characters of the strains were observed,studied and analyzed,which provided the theoretical basis for nutrition physiology,high quality strain selecting,and commercial property improving of the Auricularia cornea Ehrenb and their variants.The results showed:(1)In the process of ontogeny,MZP01 and MZP03 formed a cavity between the hymenium and the base,while MZF02 didn't.(2)The laws of extracellular enzyme activity showed great difference between three strains.The activity of extracellular protease was generally stable,while the activity of extracellular laccase,carboxymethylcellulase,hemicellulase and amylase showed a complementary trend.The decomposition of nutrient in culture medium also showed a certain sequence.Firstly extracellular laccase played a role,after the carboxymethylcellulose enzyme and amylase did,and finally the hemicellulase.(3)In periods of vegetative growth,different extracellular enzymes have different effects,and the same extracellular enzyme showed different effects on the growth and development of mycelia and fruiting bodies at different times.The activity of carboxymethylcellulase contributed a promoted affect.Hemicellulase promoted the formation of primordium during the formation of primordium,but in the later stage of mycelial growth,the activity of hemicellulase will play a certain side effect on the formation of primordia.In the later stage of vegetative growth and early stage of reproductive stage,amylase became the main nutrition source of mycelium.(4)The results of correlation analysis of extracellular enzyme activity and agronomic traits showed that carbonxymethylcelluse,hemicellulase and amylase have certain impact of the fruiting body growth of the three strains in different stage of growth and development.The use of cellulosic substances in half-bag period can affect the development of fruiting bodies.After the formation of the primordium,the hemicellulase activity contributed to the differentiation of the primordia.At this stage,the higher the activity of hemicellulase responded shorter time of the primordial differentiation.When the primordium appears,the higher the activity of extracellular amylase resulted the greater consumption of nutrients and the more adverse development of the fruiting body.
