The Value Of Safflower Yellow Injection For The Treatment Of Acute Cerebral Infarction With Blood-Stasis Obstruction:A Randomized Controlled Trial

Objective:to observe the value of Safflower yellow Injection on inpriving acute cerebral infarction(ACI) patients Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptom score, clinical therapeutic effect and neurologic impairment,and to compare the hemorheology,execailly for Plasma viscosity,hematocrit and fibrinogen after treating with Safflower yellow InjectionMethods:70 acute cerebral infarction patients were included in our study,and seperated randomly into two groups, the control group (treated with conventional therapy),and the treatment group (exected therapy of Safflower yellow Injection 100mg qd), take 2 weeks as one course of treatment.The therapeutic effect were evaluated by observing TCM symptom score, clinical therapeutic effect and neurologic impairment score, then hemorheology,including Plasma viscosity,hematocrit and fibrinogen,was compared after treatment.Results:1. Totle treatment effect comparison:The totle treatment effect of Post-infectious Cough were 94.28% and 85.71% in the treatment group and the control group,seperately, difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p<0.05), suggesting that the treatment group has a better effect on treating post-infectious cough and get a better clinical control effect than the control group.2. TCM symptom score comparison:TCM symptom score were compared between prior treatment and posttreatment (two weeks later), difference were statistically significant (p<0.05), suggesting that TCM symptom score can be reduced in both two groups; TCM symptom score were compared posttreatment between the two groups, difference were statistically significant (p<0.05) suggesting that treatment group have a better curative effect.3. neurologic impairment score:neurologic impairment score was compared between prior treatment and posttreatment, difference were statistically significant (p<0.05), suggesting that neurologic impairment score can be improved in both two groups; neurologic impairment score was compared between the two groups after treatment, difference were statistically significant (p<0.05) suggesting that treatment group have a better curative effect.4. hemorheology,including Plasma viscosity,hematocrit and fibrinogen:Plasma viscosity and hematocrit were compared between prior treatment and posttreatment, difference were statistically significant (p<0.05); Plasma viscosity and hematocrit were compared between the two groups in the same time (two weeks after treatment), difference were statistically significant (p<0.05).however,neither prior treatment or posttreatment, fibrinogen level was not showing statistically significant (p>0.05) the two groupsConclusion:Safflower yellow Injection can significantly improve TCM symptom score and neurologic impairment scroe in acute cerebral infarction patients,and own effectively clinical therapeutic effect,what's more, Safflower yellow Injection can correct hemorheology for acute cerebral infarction patients, including Plasma viscosity and hematocrit,however,excluding fibrinogen.
