A Translation Report On MAYO CLINIC ON HEALTHY AGING (Chapter 9)

This is a translation report on Chapter 9 of MAYO CLINIC ON HEALTHY AGING, which is written by the healthy-aging experts at Mayo Clinic. This book was published on June 5, 2014, by Rosetta Books, which contains 14 chapters, with more than 90,000 words. The main idea of Chapter 9 is what you eat is important, and how to eat well. Five translators, including the author, think that China's aging problem is significant now, and this material is in line with the current situations in China. The second part is the translation process that elaborates the whole translation process in four stages, which are the preparation and the analysis and modification of the sketches and retouching of the final sketch. The third part is the case analysis, which analyzes the difficulties on the basis of communicative translation strategy. The last part is the conclusion, which includes the unsolved problems and related thinking and inspiration, as well as the prospect for future work.
