Phonetics is the outside shell of the language, it is also the first step in learning a language. Phonetics teaching is a primary and also an important part in teaching the language.Mandarin initial blade-palatal and dorsal form a difficulty for Sudanese students learning Chinese consonants. This research uses experimental phonetics to analyze the errors that Sudanese Students make in blade-palatal and dorsal, giving Sudanese learners and teachers a view to Mandarin blade- palatal and dorsal a certain amount of inspiration and help.This paper discusses the following issues: 1, the status of students learning blade-palatal and dorsal of Mandarin Chinese; 2, the phonetic analysis of the consonant blade-palatal and dorsal in Mandarin Chinese; 3, the phonetic analysis of the similarities between Chinese Mandarin dorsal and Arabic palato-aveolar; 4, the phonetic experimental analysis of the errors in which Sudanese students learning Mandarin Chinese make in blade-palatal and dorsal, and this is the core of this research. Using Praat software to analyze the pronunciation of students; 5, the reasons of the errors that Sudanese students learning Chinese make in blade-palatal and dorsal, pointing out that there are three reasons that affect Sudanese students studying these two phonetic groups, the first is the effect of the native Arabic language on Sudanese students, the second is the method defect of Chinese teachers, missing patience when teaching Chinese phonetics, and the third is the Sudanese students learning Chinese not making enough effort; 6, the solution of the errors Sudanese learners of Mandarin Chinese make in blade-palatal and dorsal, proposing some effective recommendations and teaching methods.
