To adopt the questionnaire survey,the study measured the characteristics and relationship of parenting style,thinking style and identity among 312 university employees by using Parental Bonding Instrument,,Thinking Style Instrument and Extend objective Measure Ego Identity Status-?and examined the mediate effect of hinking Style on the relation between parenting style and identity.The study received the following 3 conclusions:1.There are significant differences on the dimensions of the three scales,in different dimographic variables the difference also appear;2.The dimensions of parenting style is positive correlated with the dimensions of identity,and is significant correlated with the dimensions of thinking style.The dimensions of thinking style is significant correlated with The dimensions of parenting style.3.Thinking style shows mediating effect to the relationship between parenting style and identity.Consideration and overprotection of parenting style have a negative prediction function on identity foreclosure,and have a positive prediction function on identity achievement with a mediating effect of legislative style and external style.Consideration of parenting style have a positive prediction function on identity foreclosure and identity achievement,with a mediating effect of introverted thinking style and law enforcement thingking style,and have a positive prediction function on identity achievement,with a mediating effect of radical thinking style. Overprotection of parenting style have a positive prediction function on identity slow with a mediating effect of legislative style.Autonomy of parenting style have a positive prediction function on identity diffusion with a mediating effect of Trial thinking style.
