Translation Strategies Of Engineering Contract

At the same time, the field of engineering and technical cooperation will also be more widely involved. This translation project also came into being under this background. Today, a number of significant domestic projects with high investment risk, technical complexity, and long construction period usually implement international public tender. Its purpose is to obtain advanced technology, management and support. Engineering project contract includes all the contract documents in construction process, which is regarded as a kind of semi-legal text, and sets out the specific roles and responsibilities of employers and contractors to monitor the construction process and protect both parties' legal interests furthest. Sino-foreign engineering contracts translation belongs to the category of cross-industry and cross-region. Correctly grasping the text types and language characteristics is the key part to accurately understand, sort and translate the engineering contracts.
