| 2014 Mobile Banking Financial Institution Scorecard is published by Javelin Strategy & Research. With the development of Internet Banking, Internet companies such as BAT(Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent) are interfering the normal operation of traditional banking business. Thus, the traditional financial institutions are seeking for reforms on the basis of their off-line resources. The position the author applied for was an assistant analyst for strategic development of Ping An Financial &Technology Consulting Co. Ltd in her internship. Since competition has heated up as mobile offerings are getting mature, to better optimize mobile banking service and combine with the foreign experiences, the sector director entrusted the author to translate 2014 Mobile Banking Financial Institution Scorecard into Chinese.This translation practice aims to inspire the company with good design of mobile banking service by analyzing foreign research report. The translation practice report is made up of four parts. It begins with the introduction, which gives a brief introduction to the background information, project significance, text features and the request of the client. Then the second part is mainly centered on the translation process, in which pre-translating preparation, the process of translating and post-translating items are mentioned. The third part is considered to be the main body of this report. With such problems and difficulties astranslation of jargons, data comparison, adjustment of passive sentences and long sentences, and processing of informative text translation, the translator find ways to better solve them by combining with effective translation strategies. The final part of conclusion is supposed to make the report available and valuable for future reference. |
