The translation project is based on Project Management, Planning, and Control(Sixth Edition)(Chapters 2-5). This book, as a textbook for “Project Management”, covers nearly all the aspects of Project Management.Based on Nida's “dynamic equivalence” translation theory, and Lian Shuneng's Contrastive Studies of English and Chinese, the translation adopts such methods as amplification, and conversion. The report categorizes the difficulties encountered at the lexical, syntactic, and textual levels, and illustrated the solutions to these difficulties, using the translation methods of amplification, omission, conversion and division, etc.The report includes four parts: the first part introduces the project's background, significance and layout; the second introduces the language features of the original text, in terms of style and typology; the third introduces the translation methods adopted for the project, and the thinking and analyzing process of translating; the last part concludes the whole translation project, pointing out the lessons learned and the problems to be solved.
