Due to the development of sports dance in our country in shorter time, and needs to be improved and developed, especially to carry out sports dance classes in the sports colleges and universities. It is because of that the sports colleges and universities is to cultivate high-quality talents of sports dance, it is more required us to have further study and research on sports dance.This paper, taking a few sports dance professional colleges as the research object,uses themethod of literature survey, expert interview, questionnaire survey, observation,mathematical statistics, logic analysis and other research methods, to research and analysis of sports dance teachers in professional knowledge, professional skills and professional spirit.On this basis, the author also creatively to all aspects of the sports dance teachers' professional quality analysis, to find the main contradiction and the secondary contradictions, and the main aspects and the secondary aspects, summarizes the sports dance teachers for primary and secondary aspects of professionalism, and draw the following conclusion:1. The sports dance teachers of professional universities should have the main quality including professional knowledge, professional skills and professional spirits.2. The sports dance teachers which in the professional universities professional quality professional spirit is the key, the second is the professional knowledge and professional ability.3.In the professional spirit, outstanding personality quality is most important, with good professional ethics and the spirit of innovation.Teachers' good personality quality is the key to guarantee teaching can go smoothly. Teacher's personality is a powerful influence, not only for themselves have constraint effect, also to them for the spirit and personality cultivation, guide, infection and promote role. The personality of teachers not only the teachers' personal accomplishment, and is a means of education, education and the education problem of strength.4.
