Research On Guwen Xiyi

This paper presents a study of Guwen Xiyi,whose characteristics and value of appraisal and election is discussed in the history of ancient prose since the southern song dynasty.This paper divides into four chapters with ten section:chapter one consists of three sections,studying the compilatory process,the reference of other ancient prose writings,its purpose of compilatory and its main versions,respectively.The second chapter studies the characteristics and value of Guwen Xiyi as an anthology.The first section summarizes the characteristics of the conten of the book from the three aspects of the distribution of the times,the focus of the selection and the phenomenon of special selection.In the second section we discuss the standard of the selection,pointing out three characteristics of the standard:orthodoxy idea,narrative and argumentative form,novelty.The third chapter takes Lin Yunming's commentary as the object of study,and discusses the criticism method used in Lin's comment.In the first section,situational criticism is a kind of variant of the traditional method of Biographical Study.On the basis of historical data,the author points out the situation,mental state,mental activity and so on by simulating the author's writing situation.At the same time,the reviewers applied this method to the characters in the narrative works,and evaluated the characters and works by repeating the characters.The second section discusses the comparative method used by the commentary in commenting on the work,and points out the concrete application of the comparative method between the people,the things and the works,and analyzes the reason why the comparison method is widely used in this book.The fourth chapter focus on the impact of Guwen Xiyi from Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.the first section shows four ways which other books on annotate and comment to the classical proses affected by Guwen XiyiThe second and third section are case study,respectively,to Yu Cheng's Guwen Shiyi,Zhang Yu Gong's Guwen Xiguanjie,Hu Huachen's Guwen Bifabaipian as an example to explore the Guwen Xiyi's influence.
