Practice Project Report On Scientific And Technical Literature

With the continuous expansion of bilateral trade between China and Japan,Japan has become one of the main sources of China's absorption of foreign capital and the introduction of technology,and scientific Japanese translation is a indispensable bridge between China and Japan in a frequent trade.Therefore,in the process of scientific Japanese translation research to better learning and the introduction of Japan's advanced science and technology has an important role.To this end,the author according to their own summarized experiences and understandings of science and technology literature works,as well as mechanical manual translation,they hope can do a little help in fields which related to the translation of technical documents,not only for later reference,but also for the improvement of the translation market.This paper seleccted some more typical cases to analyze,which is from the author's translation of nearly 30000 words about technical literature and mechanical description article,especially the Japanese to Chinese translation,in the actual translation process,I found,raised,summarized and accumulated some scientific Japanese translation skills,such as integration of terminology translation,words ellipsis and supplement,sentence and complex sentence processing and so on.In addition,in the process of translation the author try to breakthrough with computer-aided translation tools.This report is composed of four parts,respectively the first chapter is the task description,the second chapter is the translation processthe,the third chapter is the case analysis and the last chapter is the practice summary.The first part makes a brief introduction of the translation task,including the information sources of translation,the current situation of the development of related research field and the outline of this paper.The second part is the translation process,divided into four stages,respectively is preparation before translation,initial translation,retranslation and proofreading.The third part is the the focal part to explain of this report,through the case analysis to find the problems in the process of translation and to analyze it,then to summarize the skills of translation.Finally,the author summarizes the merits and shortcomings in the process of translation tasks,and puts forward the prospect of the development prospects of the industry of science and technology translation.The author benifits a lot from the translation practice,it not only helped to enhance oneself's own translation level,but also let them have a comprehensive understanding of the translation industry,as well as made them found the deficiencies about their own ability.The author hopes the translation experience and enlightenment in this paper can provide reference value for the people no matter the translation majors,translators or others who are intrested in translating,to help them to go further in the way of translation.
