The Study Of Teaching Strategies On Intermediate Chinese News Listening And Reading

With the frequent communication with other countries, teaching Chinese as a second language has gained more attention and develop in a higher level. A prominent performance is that the course of teaching Chinese for special use become more and more popular. In this case, the course of teaching Chinese news language is an example. The goal of teaching Chinese news language is to train the ability of practical skills, and listening and reading are the most important. However, Chinese news language has not been paid much attention, and has not formed a mature system yet.This paper trying to do some research about the teaching of Chinese news language, include the principles, methods and skills. Moreover, based on my teaching and interviewing experience, i tried to design a teaching case on intermediate Chinese news listening and reading.This paper include six parts.The first part is introduction, which includes reason and meaning of the topic selected, range of study, method of the study and meaning of study. The second part states current situation in teaching Chinese news reading and listening for foreigners by analyzing the teaching situation, developing situation. Moreover, it sums weakness appearing in those fields. The third and forth part comes up with remedial measures in teaching practice, analyzing and sums the teaching principles and methods in teaching Chinese news reading and listening, trying to conduct more effective and better way of teaching. In the fifth part, based on the previous study and combined with my own teaching experience of several Pakistan students, I designed a lesson of teaching intermediate Chinese news reading and listening. The last part is conclusion, summarizing the whole paper and offering two teaching advice. One is apply all the teaching skills comprehensively, another is to be good at transforming the news to lesson. Besides, adding some rethinking deficiencies in this paper.
