Since the beginning of the reform and opening in 1978,with the continuous development of China’s foreign trade,Sino-foreign cooperation is increasingly frequent.Nevertheless,considering the factors of region,it is difficult for both the Chinese and foreign enterprises to conduct real-time interviews,which affect the progress of cooperation between the two sides to some extent.Meanwhile,high frequency travel interviews not only increase the operating costs,but also run counter to today’s advocacy of low-carbon environmental philosophy.As a result,the telephone business negotiation becomes the main communication means between Chinese and foreign enterprises today.This report is based on a bilingual consecutive interpretation of the telephone business negotiation operated on November 18 th,2016,in Nanning,with the representatives of Guangxi XingQuanwan Food Co.Ltd and Indochina Rice Mill Limited as its participants.The report introduces pre-interpretation preparation in detail,focuses on the problems encountering in the process of the interpretation and analyzes cases based on Interpretive Theory,to figure out whether the strategies the author adopted were acceptable and provide some references for the interpretation of telephone business negotiation.
