A Report On The E-C CI Of The Speech 'Unique Rail Corporation On The Bidding Of CRRC'

In early April of last year,Changchun Railway vehicle Co.,LTD conducted a three-day-period negotiation with Australian government,based on the cooperating project of subway construction in Australia.During this period,the author of this report served as an interpreter for the general manager of Unique Rail corporation,and the interpreting work lasted 150 minutes.This report is based on that consecutive interpreting practice,in which,the author states the background,content and requirement of the practice.Guided by the Theory of Effort Model in interpreting,the author also makes summary and reflection about the practice after analyzing the preparation,problems and countermeasures of the interpreting task.In addition,Effort Model in interpreting is also illustrated and analyzed in this report.In addition to the two parts of introduction and conclusion,this report includes three chapters.In the introduction part,the development history and status of Changchun Railway vehicle Co.,LTD are introduced,besides,the background of the practice is also included.And Chapter one illustrates the background,content and requirement of the interpreting practice.In Chapter two,the author describes the preparation and execution of the interpreting.In Chapter three,the problems and countermeasures are analyzed respectively.Lastly,in the part of conclusion,the author states the reflection and summary of this interpreting practice.This is a reflective practice report,the author hopes to provide a practice basis for the future interpreting study and practice for himself and practitioners in this field.
