This is a report based on a series of interpretations for Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School(SFLS)and China Culture and Education Center(CCEC).The participants are three delegates of CCEC from South Carolina,the US,a representative of International Office of Hebei Education Department and four delegates of SFLS.The author's interpreting practice contains two parts: consecutive interpreting for speaker Nancy and liaison interpreting for the delegates of CCEC and SFLS.The report,initially,describes the background and process of the interpreting practice and then analyzes the problems supported by cases studies.The author makes a summary of the whole interpreting and puts forward solutions.This report contains four parts.The first chapter is the description of the interpreting task.The author introduces the background,character and requirements of the interpreting.The second chapter is the description of the process.In this part,the author introduces pre-interpreting,interpreting itself and summary of this interpretation.Moreover,the author evaluates the interpretation.The third chapter is the core of this report.In this chapter,the author makes a comparison of the supervisors' version and the author's,then makes out that the supervisors stand high and extract the points of Interpretive Theory.In addition,the author summarizes the problems during the interpreting and proposes new translation or supported by cases studies and strategies.Chapter Four is the conclusions.It is the summarization and reflection of the whole interpreting task and the author comes up with some aspects on inspiration and prospects in future study.
