With the development of information era,big data has been the basis of decision support and industry development of various fields.Big Data on Real-World Applications is edited by Sebastian Ventura Soto,Jose M.Luna and Alberto Cano,and published by INTECH.The book is divided into four chapters,and this is the third chapter,“Introduction to Big Data in Education and Its Contribution to the Quality Improvement Processes”,which mainly introduces the concept of big data,analytics and quality improvement and their relationship,and analyzes the effect of education data on quality improvement through the application of big data in the context of health education.The translation report is divided into four parts,namely the translation project background,translation project description,translation project analysis and translation experience.In the process of translation,long and difficult sentences and the contents of diagrams and figures are the key and difficult points.Through the translation of “Introduction to Big Data in Education and Its Contribution to the Quality Improvement Processes” and under the guide of text typology theory put forward by K.Reiss,the translator analyzes the problems with the translation methods of annotation and restructuring etc,hoping to give some useful advice to the translation of this type of texts.
